It may reassure you to know that Chartered Clinical Psychologists are regulated by the British Psychological Society. In order to renew their practising certificate each year they need to adhere to a Code of Conduct and engage in ongoing training to ensure their skills are up to date. The society keeps a directory of Chartered Clinical Psychologists working in private practice and you can see me listed on their website www.bps.org.uk
